Events

One Shakti organises regular workshops, residential retreats and holidays.

Workshops guide the participants through purposeful parts of the yoga practice with deeper experiential knowledge and understanding. With an extended day to practice, the experience is much more subtle and the effects vibrate for several weeks.

Yoga residential retreats offer a chance to take time out of our daily routine and really experience our true nature. Practices range from exploring Asanas and Pranayama, experiencing deep relaxation through practices like Yoga Nidra and various meditation techniques, and sharing of the philosophy underpinning Yoga. Other activities include walks in nature and personal reflection time. Accommodation and hearty vegetarian food are included.

Yoga holidays provide an opportunity to experience vibrant energies in a new natural space or in the mystique of India – the birth place of Yoga. Spiritual yoga holidays with like-minded travellers can be a special experience which becomes imprinted in one’s mind.

I sought out Ananti’s class and connected with the yoga at a different level

I had done yoga intermittently during these times, mainly for helping with a healthy pregnancy, but then lost the habit for a while. When I found out I was pregnant again, I sought out Ananti’s class and connected with the yoga at a different level.
