One Shakti organises regular workshops, residential retreats and holidays.

Workshops guide the participants through purposeful parts of the yoga practice with deeper experiential knowledge and understanding. With an extended day to practice, the experience is much more subtle and the effects vibrate for several weeks.

Yoga local and international residential retreats offer a chance to take time out of our daily routine and really experience our true nature. Practices range from exploring Asanas and Pranayama, experiencing deep relaxation through practices like Yoga Nidra and various meditation techniques, and sharing of the philosophy underpinning Yoga. Other activities include walks in nature and personal reflection time. Accommodation and hearty vegetarian food are included.

Yoga holidays provide an opportunity to experience vibrant energies in a new natural space or in the mystique of India/Nepal – the birth place of Yoga. Spiritual yoga holidays with like-minded travellers can be a special experience which becomes imprinted in one’s mind.

express my sincere thanks for the workshop

I just wanted to express my sincere thanks for the workshop on Saturday. I wasn’t really sure what to expect of the day as i haven’t done anything like this before but it proved to be a wonderful and insightful experience. The space was lovely, and the way you explain things makes everything really fascinating and engaging to listen to. Even though I was familiar with some of it through your yoga classes, I felt I came away at the end of the day with a much deeper  understanding and have definitely been more aware of and mindful of my breathing . The exercises were really helpful and the relaxations were amazing..  What a difference it makes when you get your breathing right! I am still feeling in a very calm state of mind… Hope it lasts as I am not a naturally calm person!
