About Manish

Manish is a Founder member of the One Shakti group, a senior practitioner of Yoga since 1992 and a complementary therapist in Energy Healing and Massage. His journey has been one of integrating authentic spiritual practices with personal experiences, and an emphasis on presenting them simply and with clarity. Every class and session has a unique offering and one comes away feeling enriched in body, breath, mind and spirit.

After graduation he had embarked on a career in the IT Consultancy sector. Gradually stepped up the corporate ladder working with City based financial institutions. He really enjoyed both the challenges and the successes.

In his later years many a time his heart felt a little empty and life related questions were being asked. He was searching. During his sabbatical experiences and some natural moments, gave him light of hope and direction. Since 2001, he transformed to have a complete career change and embarked on a personal journey to find his true self. In the process, he has shared his space with whoever has sought guidance through Yoga and other complementary therapies. These may be as one to one guidance, group classes and events based programmes.

He continues to silently witness his unfolding journey …


Qualifications

  • Hatha Yoga Instructors (SVYASA, 1992; Bihar School of Yoga, 2002); Inspired by teachings of Iyengar Yoga and Scaravelli Yoga.
  • Energy healing practitioner in the tradition of Pranic Healing (as guided by Master Chao Kuk Sui and his trainers, 1993 – 2007) and a Reiki Master (in Dr M Usui tradition, 2004). Shamanic Homeopathy (part programme) teachings by Dr Yubraj Sharma.
  • Massage Therapist offering Thai Yoga massage (International Society of Thai Yoga Massage, 2001), On-site Seated Acupressure massage (The Academy of On-Site Massage diploma, 2004), Holistic massage (ITEC diploma, 2003) and Anatomy & Physiology (ITEC diploma, 2003).
